Pilots Pay...
I FLY AIRPLANES ... Yet I can't afford the mortgage!! In just a few decades pilots went from superstars to expendable... I wanted to be an airline pilot most of my life, now I'm not sure I'll ever take that route. All these airlines companies have to deal with the public wanting CHEAP airline tickets and that ultimetly affects the workers. I have friends in the flight attendant industry and its happened to them to. So I think I'll be sticking with the corporate life which hasn't been too bad for me except for the fact I'm still flying a single engine airplane. I've been flying a little Cessna 206 for about 5 years. The best thing I'd say about flying for a good corporate flight department is flying newer equipment! The oldest plane I've flown is just 4 years old. The best of the best. The problem: I've wanted to fly big airplanes my whole life. If I go that route I'll lose half my salary.
