Never Enough Multi TIME...

During flight school everyone worried about how much time they had and did they have enough flight time for the next step... Now in the real world its the same old thing. I worried until I worked up enough hours to get to 1000 hours so insurance would be easy no matter what plane I flew. Now I have over 2000 and short on the multi engine hours, what to do now? No one will hire a guy with low multi time so you can't get multi time because you can't get hired... Is there anything you can do? I'm looking to hired on with a fractional but looks like I'll never have the min requirements... I'm sure I'll find something someday but why are the requirements so tough anyway? Personally I would rather have the guy most suited for the job. The one with the best attitude, best stick etc... not the guy who may have lied in his logbook and has 4000 hours of multi time but can't land the airplane straight to save his life... I know people that streched the truth in their b...
